Marina Joyce’s boyfriend denied she was missing on Friday, with police confirming that she had been found on Saturday afternoon.
British YouTube star Marina Joyce has been found by police – 10 days after she went missing.
The 22-year-old was last seen on 31 July in her hometown of Haringey, north London, but was only reported missing to police on 7 August.
On Friday night, Joyce’s boyfriend Brandon Mehmed denied that she was missing – writing on Instagram: “Please don’t worry about her as she is safe and well.”
Despite this, it took Metropolitan Police until Saturday afternoon to confirm the vlogger’s welfare.
Missing People, the charity that launches appeals for missing people on behalf of families and the police, thanked the public for their help in a tweet.
“Our helpline continues to be here 24/7 for anybody affected by a disappearance, on 116 000. Please continue to share our appeals and help bring #missing people back safely.”
Joyce’s last video was uploaded to YouTube on 21 June 2019, with a promise for more content a week later.
Fans of the lifestyle vlogger, best known for her make-up and clothing reviews, were swift in their campaign to find her, with #FindMarinaJoyce trending on Twitter.
